Five Things

1.  Oracle is set to break ground on a new public high school on it’s Silicon Valley campus in Redwood Shores. Design Tech High School incorporates technology and design thinking into an innovative curriculum.

2.  Redwood City released a draft plan for the city’s “inner harbor” area. The plan outlines the development of office space, retail space, residential units and open space.

3.  Don’t forget to vote in the county election by mailing in your ballot in by November 3rd. You can also vote in person at any of these polling places in Redwood City.

4.  Winter Spare the Air season starts on Sunday and will continue through February 29. There are new restrictions and regulations in place for folks who use wood burning as their main source of heat or have a broken heater.

5.  Don’t forget to fall back and turn back the clocks for daylight savings on Sunday, Nov. 1.
