When Natalie and I initially launched The Front Porch in May we were looking for a way to share our real estate expertise, love for good design, and the people and places that make Redwood City a unique place to live. The blog has also given us the opportunity to connect with our local community in a whole new way. We have been able to meet some really amazing people and have loved learning about them and sharing their stories with you. We feel like we have started to tap into the heart and soul of Redwood City and that has really become one of our favorite things about the site.
It's also been a big year for us personally. I kicked off the year by moving offices from Today Sotheby's International Realty in San Carlos to Dwell Realtors, Inc. It was a tough decision, because I started my career at Sotheby's, but I was ready for a change and couldn't be happier at my new office. Natalie had some changes at work as well, and scaled back her hours at Stanford to spend more time with our family and pursue starting her own business. We also purchased our second home and are slowly, but surely making it feel like ours. Arguably, our biggest accomplishment, our son, Jack, turned one in October. He has so much personality and we are having the time of our lives watching him grow and learn every day.
As the year comes to a close, we also wanted to say thank you to all of our readers. Whether you've been following along since the blog started or are just checking it out for the first time, we truly appreciate you. The Front Porch wouldn't be what it is without your support. With that in mind, please don't hesitate to drop us a line and let us know what you think or what you would like to see more of.
We will be taking the next week off over the holiday to strategize and plan our goals for the year ahead and spend some quality time with our family. We wish you all the best and look forward to connecting in the New Year! Happy Holidays!
