Where to Buy Used Furniture
Since we moved, Cliff and I have been getting used to our new space and slowly collecting furniture that works for the house. We are big fans of mixing antique and mid-century furniture with newer, modern pieces. With that said, there are several great resources in the Bay Area for finding used furniture for your home.
Good ol' Craigslist is a great place to start your search, but it can be a little overwhelming since it's not curated.
Move Loot offers a hassle-free experience from online browsing to delivery at your front door. Purchases over $200 include free delivery.
Chairish makes it fun and easy for design lovers to buy and sell vintage furniture and decor to one another. Their shop featurehttp://alamedapointantiquesfaire.com/s curator-approved treasures.
Alameda Point Antiques Faire
The largest antique show in Northern California is held on the 1st Sunday of every month, just across the bay. The Alameda Faire boasts over 800 Dealer booths and all items are 20 years old or older. We have found some great gems there.
Also worth a trip across the bay, Ohmega Salvage, specializes in salvaged and antique items that range from hardware, to lighting, to claw foot bathtubs. If you're looking for a special piece, you might just be able to find it here!
