Smoky skies continue to plague the Bay Area through the weekend so a "Spare the Air" alert remains up. See more about the current air quality and health advisory here.

The old-fashioned Zoppé Family Circus from Italy returns to the Bay Area Oct. 13-29 for another Bay Area run at the Red Morton Community Park in Redwood City. There will be matinee and evening performances. Get your tickets here.

San Mateo County Supervisor Warren Slocum will convene the second annual San Mateo County Immigrant Integration Summit on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Fox Theatre in Redwood City. This year’s summit will focus on immigrant youth. The goal is to inspire, encourage and educate leaders in San Mateo County, in the heart of Silicon Valley, to create a safe and supportive path for the immigrant children of San Mateo County.

Some residents with floating homes who are losing spots at one Redwood City marina could soon find another spot nearby. The Port of Redwood City’s Board of Commissioners on Sept. 27 authorized allowing up to 19 live-aboard vessels to dock at the port on a month-to-month basis. It’s the first time the port has authorized live-aboard vessels, though the plan still needs to be approved by a governing body.

Check out this weekend’s open houses, like this 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath on a beautiful lot in Mt. Carmel. If you’re in the market to buy or sell a home, I would love to work with you. Schedule a free consultation or give me a ring at (650) 704-8883.
